Do you know what determines your Veterinary Income?
Have you ever sat down with your employer to ask them?
Course Starts 6th February, 2017
Your Veterinary Income is determined by many factors:
- your level of skill
- your experience
- your efficiency and ability to manage the day
- your ability to communicate with clients
- the number of new clients you bring to the practice
- how you fit within the team
- your value to the practice
- your turnover
- your revisit rate and booking of procedures
- the profitability of the practice your work for
- plus many more factors
What do most vets focus on when considering what should be their salary? Their experience and skills! There is so much more that needs to be considered.
Natasha has worked in many different practices:
- large to small practices
- very busy to quieter clinics
- low cost, average cost, high cost
- in Australia and the UK
- great management & poorly managed, multiple partners through to a single owner practice
In every single one of those practices, Natasha found something very alarming!!
The majority of vets discount and undercharge by at least $100,000/year for each veterinarian which effectively gives you a $20,000 pay cut/year!
By changing this, you can increase your income.
This is not over servicing. It is a combination of the small things that should be done in every consultation and what gets forgotten and missed charges for surgery and hospital cases. It also includes what is purposefully not charged for due to feeling guilty about fees, incorrect estimates, miscommunication with clients and reaching your price ceiling.
Natasha created this program as she found one of the biggest frustrations for veterinarians was their income.
The problem is that every practice owner wants their associates to charge more and be more accountable but they have not been given the specific training to build their skills in this area.
It is not as simple as giving associates a list to charge more. That will not work.
The underlying causes of discounting and undercharging must be addressed first which are multifactorial.
Your Veterinary Income is a coaching program designed for you to become aware of what is affecting your turnover and working personally with Natasha, you will learn how to easily increase your turnover.
With the oversupply of veterinarians leading to a downward trend on salaries, having this knowledge and skill gives you the ability to negotiate a higher income as you will have tangible evidence of an increased turnover.

We will focus on the 6 areas in the veterinary practice and the 30 items Natasha has found are commonly charged incorrectly contributing to $100,000 of lost turnover for EACH veterinarian EACH year.
