Dr Natasha Wilks BVSc DipCoaching CAPP B3 is a Veterinarian with 20 years experience and has been a coach and trainer since 2006.
Natasha is passionate about helping veterinarians & their teams cope with the challenges in practice and giving them the strategies to thrive personally and professionally.
Natasha has presented at conferences throughout Australia and worked with individuals and practices nationally & internationally.
Natasha completed her Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology and her Resilience Trainer Certification in 2017.

Felicia Huppert’s research found that the majority of the population have moderate mental health. A small percentage of the population is flourishing. The key to this curve is when an individual is experiencing chronic stress, tragedy and/or trauma, they move to the left of the curve. For people who have moderate mental health, they can begin to languish. If they are already languishing, they can being to suffer from a mental disorder.
The Merck study found that veterinarians have a slightly lower level of wellbeing than the general population. What is more concerning is that 1 in 20 veterinarians suffer from serious psychological distress and only half those veterinarians are seeking help.
The aim of positive psychology is to give people the resources so they can flourish in their life.
Building psychological resources and implementing strategies in your life will improve your wellbeing.
